Trading from the Feed

How to execute trades directly from Glint's signal feed.

The Trading Flow

  1. Spot a signal — A new Critical or High impact signal appears in your feed

  2. Read the match — Check the matched market, relevance score, and causation label

  3. Check the odds — Review the current YES/NO prices

  4. Hit TRADE — Click the TRADE button on the matched market card

  5. Set your position — Choose YES or NO, enter your amount

  6. Confirm — Review and execute

What to Check Before Trading

Before hitting TRADE on any signal, run through this quick checklist:

  • Is the source reliable? Check the verification badge and source tier

  • Is the relevance score high? 7+ suggests a strong match

  • What's the causation label? "Likely Cause" signals are most actionable

  • Have the odds already moved? If the market has already repriced, the edge may be gone

  • Is there enough liquidity? Check that the market has sufficient volume for your position size

Timing Your Trades

The prediction market edge window is typically:

  • 0-30 seconds — Maximum edge. Market hasn't repriced yet.

  • 30 seconds - 5 minutes — Diminishing edge. Early movers are entering.

  • 5+ minutes — Edge is likely gone. Market has priced in the signal.

This is why Glint's <30s signal-to-alert speed matters — it gives you a head start.

Position Sizing

General guidelines (not financial advice):

  • High conviction (Critical + 9-10 relevance + Likely Cause): Larger position

  • Moderate conviction (High + 7-8 relevance + Contextual): Moderate position

  • Speculative (Medium + 5-6 relevance): Small position or skip

Never risk more than you can afford to lose. Prediction markets are volatile.
